How can I join the OCU?
Organize your place of employment is the only way. Our Waiting List for temporary job assignments has been closed for several years and we still have hundreds of people on that closed list.
How do I Organize my workplace?
Contact us for specifics. You can email or call us to find out if your employer and type of work fit in with the type of work we cover. Our officers are happy to discuss the potential with you at any time.
Are you "Longshore"?
The ILWU has hundreds of locals that represent many types of workers. We are technically not the Longshore division. We cover Office Clerical work only and are a separate division entirely. ILWU members are proud and share the ILWU love with one another but each Local is separate.
